Abscess? Hope it breaks out quickly. Flurry know the Find the Treat game too, he stole a carrot out of my pocket while I was picking out his feet yesterday!
Really!!?? Is that the villan in your Val's lameness? An abscess!!?? Just amazing that horses react so strongly, must reeeeaaallllly hurt bad!! Unless Val's a wuss??? :) Kidding...just hope that's all there is to it and he's feeling much better.
Ah, the dreaded abscess--boo! But at least that's better than something more serious.
I really like using a hot-water-soaked Animalintex pad topped with a Thermacare pad, with either epsom salt poultice or icthamol slathered on the coronet. Works like a charm!
Hope he's feeling better and I'm sure he found the treat. Beautiful picture of the dunes, sky and water.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was just an abscess, based on the soaking? What a relief! I hope he's back to 100% in no time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky! Looks like the sand dunes we have on the west side of Michigan.
ReplyDeleteFind the treat sounds like fun, I'll have to do that one day :)

Best of luck!
Wow that's some wicked abscess, poor Val!
ReplyDeleteIn hopes that it breaks out cleanly, quickly! Hang in. I'm so glad he's at your home.
That sky view, it's luscious!
Heal fast, big guy.
